Scrapbook Swaps

SWAP MEET - First Thursday of Every Month 6 pm

Here is a chance to do something fun and different.

Swap Date: First Thursday of Month
Time: 6 pm
During swap meet we will have coffee and dessert and Scrapbook Connection will provide a "swap" to make that night.

If you are not sure how swaps work, they are easy (think cookie exchange!) Each month will be a new theme and requirements. You sign up for a particular project/group and complete as many as required and you will receive the same from all the others in the swap.   For example, if we have a swap for Holiday Tags and we then have four people sign up in a group and you are require to make 2 tags per person you will make a total of 8 Tags of the same design and everyone will get two of what you make and you will get two of everything they make. So at the end of the night you will have 8 tags. EASY!

When you sign up for a swap you agree to follow through and provide your items to SBConnection by the appropriate due date.   Please read all requirements for each swap and feel free to contact me to sign up or if you have any questions.

Swap Name: Ice Breaker
Date Due: October 6
Sign up No later than: Sept 15
Swap Details: This is a get to know each other - your choice swap.
Pick a technique, theme, tag, journal box, title, altered item, etc that you really like/do well.
Make One for each person

Swap Name: Autumn is Here
Date Due: November 3
Sign up No later than: Oct 15
Swap Details: Fall in Upstate NY is such a colorful time - let's embrace it. This swap you will be required to make 1 2x12 border, 1 title, 1 journal box and 1 photo mat per person in your category You must use fall color theme: reds, yellows, greens, brown, oranges, rusts. You should include layers and embellishment and any other techniques to enhance your work.

Swap Name: Tag- Your It!
Date Due: December 1
Sign up No later than: Nov 15
Swap Details: Just in time for the holidays. Decorate your holiday gifts or tree.
-This swap is for holiday/winter tags.
-Your tags should be at least 3"x5".
-You should include at least 2 layers and 2 embellishment and any other techniques to enhance your work.
-Make 12 of the same tag
-You will receive 12 Tags back

Swap Name: Soup's On!
Date Due: January 5
Sign up No later than: Dec 15
Swap Details: This is a recipe swap. Enjoy a full course meal in no time.
-Recipe card should be 6x6 size.
-Use Pattern Paper and coordinating Solid
-Add embellishments and any other techniques to enhance your work.
-Recipe must be typed (sorry, sometimes other's handwriting is too hard to read)
-Make 6 of the same recipe for your category. You can sign up for more than one category.
-You will receive 6 recipes back for each category that you are in.
